Why Perforated Vinyl ?

There are many reason why most local businesses use window and wall signage to promote their services and build local presence.

Each perforated vinyl is assigned a ratio which is an indication of the number of holes on a vinyl  vs. the vinyl surface. For example a 60/40 ratio means that there is 60% vinyl and 40% holes and diameter of each hole is about 1mm in length. Perforated vinyl can be used to make custom window signs and decals. 


Perforated Vinyl Installation

All perforated vinyl applications come with a release paper and must be installed on a very smooth surface such as glass. To optimize the installation quality, perforated should be installed on a wet surface using a squeegee.If perforated vinyl is installed on a glass window, it must be installed from outside. It must be noted that temperature must be around 22 degree so the adhesive can be activated and bond with the surface.

If you have your graphic file done, make sure you have noted the following points

  • Size of the Graphic media must be the same as the size of the target surface and each side 1/4″ bleed must be noted
  • All media files must be saved as PDF format.
  • Quality of your media file must be 300 DPI
